Today, Electronic Arts announced Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, a third-person shooter spin-off of PopCap Games’ hit tower defense Plants vs. Zombies series.
The game, which uses the Frostbite 3 game engine, is a co-op shooter that allows players to play as one of four plants: Sunflower, Cactus, Chomper, and Peashooter. Each plant features unique abilities that can be used to fight off zombie hordes.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is scheduled for release on Xbox One, with an Xbox 360 version coming at a later date. A PC edition has also been announced.

This game looks really fun! I loved PvZ so this interests me.
I can’t waaaaait!
I can’t wait to get my hands on this.
When the trailer started during the conference, I jokingly said it might be Plants vs Zombies because it and Dragon Age were the only things I knew coming up that the trailer didn’t look like so far. I didn’t expect to be right!
It looks like a lot of fun. I’m a bit iffy on the interface from what I remember, but that’s no matter. The developer up there talking about it just had so much enthusiasm and it was definitely contagious.
