The Australian ratings board has listed a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game for classification, and it’s being developed by none other than Platinum Games.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan was leaked by the Brazilian ratings board last month for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and this new listing in Australia seems to all but confirm the game’s existence, as well as reveal its developer and publisher. Like Platinum’s recent licensed game, Transformers: Devastation, Mutants in Manhattan will be published by Activision. Nothing else is known about the new game beyond its M rating in Australia.
Platinum seems to have been taking on a lot more projects recently as its reputation has grown throughout the industry. Besides the just-released Transformers, the studio is also currently working on Xbox One exclusive Scalebound, as well as Nier: Automata with Square Enix and Star Fox Zero with Nintendo.
Perhaps we’ll see an official reveal of the new Turtles game in the near future. So far, neither Platinum nor Activision has commented on the game’s existence.
