Although repetitive to an extent, Gunvolt is a worthy successor to Inti Creates' Mega Man games, and a fun addition to the 3DS' digital library in its own right.
New Leaf is a great starting point for new fans of the series, while also giving veterans a refreshing way to play. Relatively minor flaws and some monotony detract little from the overall experience.
A Link Between Worlds is a throwback that often feels overly familiar, but the steps taken to break out of series conventions are admirable, and the increased focus on exploration and lack of hand-holding are refreshing.
Awakening is the best in the series and the best original title for 3DS yet, providing a great entry point for newcomers while still offering veterans the series' signature hardcore tactical gameplay and challenge.
Despite some questionable design choices, Kingdom Hearts 3D feels more like a main series game than a spinoff, with great combat and production values.
