Bioware has announced via the official Mass Effect Facebook page that a demo for its upcoming shooter, Mass Effect 3, will be released in January.
According to the post, the demo will not only feature a single-player section, but also a section for fans to try out several of the game’s multiplayer features. Mass Effect 3 will be the first game in the series to offer a multiplayer mode of any sort, allowing players to team up with friends and complete missions together.
Mass Effect 3 is slated to hit shelves on March 6, 2012 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
