Are you interested in working in a laid-back, friendly environment with people as passionate about games as you are? Looking for an outlet to express your opinions and views on gaming? Are you a writer, video producer, designer, or otherwise exceptionally talented individual that wants to share your talents with the world? Then 4P might be the place for you!
Whether you’re interested in writing news, reviews, and features, creating videos, or building 4P’s ties with the games industry and the public, we have a position for you. No extensive list of credentials required – just send us a sample of your work and we’ll review it and see if you’re a good fit for our team. We’re looking for people with an effective, personable writing (or on-camera!) style, a great personality, and of course a love and passion for video games. All staff must agree to our Ethics Policy.
All positions at 4P are volunteer – we don’t do this for any type of compensation, monetary or otherwise. We’re just a bunch of gamers that love our hobby and want to share it with the world. If that sounds like you, then keep reading!
Here are some of the ways you can be a part of the 4P team:
- Writers – Without writers, there would be no 4P. From news to reviews, previews to features, writers are responsible for producing the content on our site.
- Video Producers – We’d like to increase our video presence, so we’re looking for video creators to help us set up and manage an official 4P YouTube channel with video reviews, walkthroughs, let’s plays, and other gaming-related content.
- PR Coordinators – Responsible for strengthening 4P’s relationship with developers, publishers, and other members of the gaming industry.
- Publicity – Promoting 4P via social media, encouraging activity on both the site and forums, bringing in new members, and reaching out to older, now-inactive members are all things that can help get the word out about 4P. And you don’t even have to be a member of the staff to do it!
If you’re interested in being a part of the 4P team, email Geoff with a brief background and sample(s) of your work!
