Following its announcement of an announcement, The Pokémon Company revealed its next video game project: a crossover between Pokémon and Nobunaga’s Ambition.
Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition is a strategy game currently being co-developed by Tecmo Koei and The Pokémon Company for the Nintendo DS. The game, which takes place in the fictional Ranse region, will feature Pokémon from all five generations of the RPG series, while also mixing in the feudal Japan aspect of Nobunaga’s Ambition. The game will presumably revolve around battling other trainers in order to gradually gain control over Ranse, as Nobunaga’s Ambition is set in Japan, with the player attempting to take over the country.
More details about the game are expected to be revealed in the near future. Pokémon + Nobunaga’s Ambition will be released in Spring 2012.
