Following speculation from the community regarding the possibility of a new demo being released for the upcoming game, SEGA confirmed via its blog that a new demo for Sonic Generations will be released on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network before the game’s release.
For Xbox Live, the demo will be released on October 18th in North America and Europe. PlayStation Network, on the other hand, won’t receive the demo until October 25th. Both releases feature the game’s modern rendition of the original Sonic the Hedgehog’s Green Hill Zone, as well as the classic rendition of it, which was previously seen in a demo released in June.
Sonic Generations is set to be released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in North America on November 1st, and in Europe on November 4th. A separate Nintendo 3DS version is scheduled for release sometime later this year.
