One of the most widely well-received games of the previous generation was Fallout 3, Bethesda Game Studios’ reworking of a classic post-apocalyptic RPG. Ever since its follow-up Fallout: New Vegas was released three years ago, many have been clamoring for another adventure into the nuclear American wasteland, and finally, Bethesda has announced a new game for the series: Fallout 4.
Originally teased yesterday by way of a countdown page, Bethesda’s official Fallout website has now been updated to announce that Fallout 4 does indeed exist, and takes place near Boston, Massachusetts. The page also shows the game’s reveal trailer, which can be viewed above. Finally, the website states that during this year’s E3, Bethesda will be showing a “world premiere” look at the game, possibly during the company’s first ever E3 press conference on Tuesday, June 14 at 7:00pm PDT.
Fallout 4 has been confirmed for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. Stay tuned in the next three weeks as we cover the biggest news leading up to and during the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
