Having been available on multiple platforms several for years now, many have been able to experience the violent God of War series and the not-so-violent Sly Cooper series. If you somehow haven’t, both series are being re-released again, this time for PlayStation Vita.

The Vita releases of God of War and Sly Cooper are identical to the PlayStation 3 releases from several years ago. The God of War Collection includes Sony Santa Monica’s God of War and God of War II; meanwhile, the Sly Cooper Collection contains Sly Cooper: The Thievious Racoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, all originally developed by Sucker Punch Productions. Each game has been remastered from its original rendition, with specific optimization for Vita play.
The God of War Collection will be released at $29.99 on May 6. Meanwhile, the Sly Cooper Collection will release on Mary 27, with no price point currently set. The studios who originally ported the PlayStation 2 titles to PlayStation 3 – Bluepoint Games and Sanzaru Games, respectively – will also be responsible for the Vita editions.
