BioWare has pulled the curtain back on Mass Effect 3’s online modes. It’s not competitive multiplayer – it’s co-op.
ME3 will feature 4-player co-op missions that are part of “Galaxy at War” – a larger system that somehow ties into the main story and even goes so far as to affect the best ending of the story. More details about Galaxy at War will be made available later, but for now we know that the co-op modes exist independent of the single player game, but still affect it.
