The Assassin’s Creed series has had crossovers with several other franchises in the past– Konami’s Metal Gear Solid and Ubisoft’s own Prince of Persia, to name a few. Ubisoft and Square Enix intend to add yet another franchise to the list soon.
Square Enix today announced that one of Final Fantasy XIII-2’s DLC’s will feature a costume for Noel Kreiss based on the robes worn by Ezio Auditore in the latest Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed: Revelations. While a release date and price for the outfit has yet to be determined, Square Enix promises to divulge more information in the near future. In the meantime, they have released a piece of artwork for the costume, as seen above.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released in North America on January 31, 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Assassin’s Creed: Revelations was released on November 15, 2011 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with the PC version set for release on December 1.
