Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition Announced for PC

Fans of ridiculously difficult dungeon crawling games, rejoice: Namco Bandai has announced that last year’s Dark Souls will be ported to PC later this year with bonus levels and bosses.

Dark Souls, the spiritual successor to 2009’s Demon’s Souls, is notorious for its extremely high difficulty and unforgiving environments. Hidetaka Miyazaki, the game’s director, stated that the only reason the PC version exists is because of the amount of people who showed their support for such a version.

Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition will be released on August 24 for PC via digital download. Physical copies will be available from select retailers.
