In Japan, Capcom will offer a bundle for Resident Evil 6 that includes the game and a sexy replica of Leon Kennedy’s jacket. Unfortunately, said package costs roughly $1,300. For North America, however, Capcom may be offering collections to gamers that won’t make your wallet cry in agony.

Each title has a release date of October 2, which is Resident Evil 6‘s official release date. While the two titles are both priced at $89.99, their contents differ greatly. The contents of Anthology can be seen below:
- A copy of Resident Evil 6.
- A downloadable version of the PS1 Classic Resident Evil: Director’s Cut from the PlayStation Network.
- A downloadable version of the PS1 Classic Resident Evil 2 from the PlayStation Network.
- A downloadable version of the PS1 Classic Resident Evil 3: Nemesis from the PlayStation Network.
- A downloadable version of last year’s Resident Evil 4: HD Edition from the PlayStation Network.
- A downloadable version of 2010’s Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition from the PlayStation Network.
As for Archives, the collection includes:
- A copy of Resident Evil 6.
- A DVD copy of 2008’s computer-generated film Resident Evil: Degeneration.
- A downloadable version of last year’s Resident Evil Code: Veronica X – HD Edition from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
- A downloadable version of last year’s Resident Evil 4: HD Edition from the PlayStation Network.
- A downloadable version of 2009’s Resident Evil 5 from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
- Access to a download of the Gold Edition content for Resident Evil 5 from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
Though Capcom has yet to confirm if the two collections are real or fake, they’re both great deals if they are. I would personally buy the Anthology simply because it has more games, and lets you experience the majority of the main Resident Evil storyline. If you’re an Xbox gamer, however, Code: Veronica X is one of the better old-school Resident Evil titles, and Degeneration is an entertaining film for fans of the series.
I still want that damn jacket, though.
