Fire Emblem: Awakening Coming to North America

At tonight’s Nintendo 3DS Software Showcase, there was a disturbing lack of Japanese role-playing games. However, as it turns out, there is such a game coming to North America, and that game is Fire Emblem: Awakening.

Moments after the showcase’s conclusion, IGN’s Rich George tweeted:

Reggie just confirmed to us that Fire Emblem Awakening is coming to the United States. ‪#E3NVC

Why Nintendo didn’t mention the game at their showcase baffles me, but it’s wonderful to hear that the series isn’t dead outside of Japan; the previous Fire Emblem game for the Nintendo DS never made it outside the country. 4P will bring you more coverage of Fire Emblem: Awakening soon.
