After many rumors, Activision has confirmed that the next major Call of Duty title will be released for Wii U.
The Wii U version of Call of Duty: Black Ops II will, for the first time ever on a Nintendo console, be on par with other editions in terms of visuals and content, going as far as featuring the full 60 frames-per-second seen on other consoles. The Wii U version also brings its own exclusive features, such as the ability to play multiplayer with one person on a television screen while another uses the Wii U GamePad’s screen. The GamePad’s touch screen can also be used to select killstreaks or customize classes. The game can also be played using the Pro controller, Classic Controller Pro, or a combination of the Wii Remote Plus and Nunchuk.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II is set for release sometime during the Wii U’s launch window. The Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC editions will be available on November 13 in several limited-edition bundles.
