Since Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII‘s initial announcement in August, very little has been revealed about the game. However, that may change this month, as Square Enix has revealed that the game is one of several that are set to be shown at Jump Festa 2013 in Japan.
Jump Festa is an annual convention held in Tokyo, Japan that is typically host to reveals of new anime, manga, films, and video games. Square Enix’s complete list of titles set to be shown at the event can be seen below.

It is worth noting that this event will not only host the first footage of Lightning Returns, but also the first playable demo of Kingdom Hearts I.5 HD ReMIX. Lightning Returns is the third and final installment in the Final Fantasy XIII saga, while Kingdom Hearts I.5 HD ReMIX is an HD port of content from Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.
Jump Festa 2013 is scheduled to be held on December 22 and 23.
