Early last month, Bethesda stated that all downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim would be released on PlayStation 3 early this year, with a PC release of the most recent expansion, Dragonborn, also planned. Today, the company revealed the release date for the DLC on PC, as well as a special deal coming soon to PS3 players.
On February 5, Dragonborn will be released on PC via the Steam marketplace. The expansion will be available in English, French, Italian, Spanish, and German. Later in the month, the 1.8 update – released on Xbox 360 and PC last November – will be released for the PS3 version of Skyrim, followed shortly by a release of Dragonborn on the PlayStation Store. After Dragonborn‘s release, Hearthfire will be available for purchase, and after that, Dragonguard. Each individual DLC will be available for 50% during their respective launch weeks, and each DLC is planned for a February release.
This is great news for PlayStation 3 players, as previously, none of Skyrim‘s expansions were available on the platform. We will update with the PS3 DLC release dates as they are made available by Bethesda.
