With the recent releases of Atlus’ Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 Golden and Intelligent Systems’ Fire Emblem: Awakening each being critical successes, it was only a matter of time until a new game in each series was announced. What few expected, however, was a crossover.
During today’s Nintendo Direct, a trailer was shown for a Wii U title known as Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem. While no gameplay or story details were revealed, the trailer showcases art of numerous characters in each series. The trailer can be viewed above.
More information on the title will be revealed in the future.
