Original story: After numerous rumors and leaks, Ubisoft has announced the next main entry in the Assassin’s Creed franchise, and that is Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag.
While details are scarce, Ubisoft has released the above image alongside the announcement. The image depicts the game’s new playable character, and seemingly confirms that the game has an increased focus on naval exploration and combat, something introduced in last year’s Assassin’s Creed III. In addition, Ubisoft has confirmed that like last year’s release, Black Flag will be released on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC, though it will feature roughly sixty minutes of exclusive content on PlayStation 3.
Ubisoft has stated that more concrete information on the game will be shared next Monday. 4P will provide more information on Assassin’s Creed IV as it is made available.
