Nintendo has confirmed release dates for the next two entries in its slow trickle of first-party Wii U releases.
Game & Wario, a WarioWare style minigame collection using the Wii U’s features, will release June 23 on both eShop and at retail.
Probably of more interest to most Wii U owners is the release date of Pikmin 3. As revealed by Nintendo of America’s Twitter after this morning’s presentation, the game hits eShop and retail on August 4, far beyond the initial “launch window” and “Q2 2013” release windows.
Today’s Nintendo Direct also saw the unveiling of a new type of Pikmin that will be featured prominently in the game – the pink flying Pikmin.
