This morning’s Nintendo Direct has revealed that the previously-announced New Super Luigi U DLC for New Super Mario Bros. U will be available June 20 for $19.99.
The Luigi-centric remix of NSMBU will also feature Nabbit as a fourth playable character in the game. Nabbit can’t use power-ups, but he also can’t take damage from enemies, which offers less-experienced players an easier alternative to Luigi and the two Toads.
Nintendo will also be releasing the game as a standalone retail title on August 25. The retail version won’t require the original game to play, but will be sold at $29.99.
Another bit of release info came in the form of a release date for Platinum Games’ The Wonderful 101. The game will release on September 15 in North America. European gamers will get the game a bit earlier – August 23.
