Even though they were leaked on xbox.com this morning, Microsoft officially unveiled both Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo 4 during their E3 press conference today.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary is a remastering of the original Halo game, marking the series’ 10th anniversary. It will feature a fully remastered campaign, online multiplayer over Xbox Live, and online co-op. The game will also feature the option to switch between the remastered graphics and the original graphics. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary will be available November 15th, 2011.
At the end of the press conference, Microsoft revealed a trailer for Halo 4, the first in a new trilogy. Developed by 343 Industries, the next chapter in the Halo series will be released during the 2012 holiday season.
