Whenever Capcom re-releases a game, they tend to always add something to its title; Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition are decent examples of that. However, it looks like they’ve fully embraced their naming conventions with the release of Super Ultra Dead Rising 3’ Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX + α, a downloadable add-on for Dead Rising 3.
Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 – contender for “Longest Game Title in Gaming History” – was announced during Microsoft’s E3 press conference today. The add-on allows players to choose one of four characters: Nick Ramos and Annie from Dead Rising 3, Chuck Greene from Dead Rising 2, and Frank West from the original Dead Rising. The four-player co-op mode also allows players to wear costumes based on characters from other Capcom games, such as Street Fighter‘s Chun-Li, Resident Evil‘s Albert Wesker, and Darkstalkers’ Felicia.
Super Ultra Dead Rising 3’ Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX + α is available now for the Xbox One version of Dead Rising 3. Capcom has not yet stated if it will release the DLC for the upcoming PC version of the game.
