Capcom’s Ace Attorney series has slowly been finding a new home on mobile devices, and that looks to continue with a new port of the latest 3DS entry in the series.
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies was released for Nintendo 3DS last year in North America, Europe, and Japan, and represented the first full 3D outing in the previously 2D series. The iOS port of Dual Destinies has been retouched with an optimized control scheme and enhanced resolution support for iOS devices’ Retina Displays. While no other details of the English release have been given at this time, the Japanese release on the App Store lists the first episode of the game as free, with all other chapters – including the 3DS version’s DLC – available as paid downloads, both separately and bundled together at a reduced price.
No specific release date for the game has been given; however, Capcom promises that the iOS version will release in North America and Europe “very soon”.
