Azure Striker Gunvolt North American Release Date Announced

The next game from the makers of Mega Man Zero is coming to North America very, very soon.

Azure Striker Gunvolt is a spiritual successor in many ways to developer Inti Creates’ Mega Man Zero and Mega Man ZX games. The game is played from a 2D perspective, and focuses on fast platforming action; different from those games, however, is the inclusion of lightning powers that the player can utilize in combat to defeat foes. The game’s debut trailer can be viewed above.

Azure Striker Gunvolt will be released in North America on August 29 via the Nintendo 3DS eShop, and will be priced at $14.99 for the full game. A European release is planned, though no release date for it has been given.
