It’s been over ten years since a main Metal Gear Solid game was released for PC, but that looks to change with the announcement of both Metal Gear Solid V titles for PC.

The PC version of The Phantom Pain will include a Steam-themed cardboard box for Snake to hide in.
Announced earlier today, both Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released via Steam for Windows-running PCs. While no release dates for either game have been given at this time, both games’ Steam store listings have already been made public, which lets users add them to their wishlists. The games seem to support the MGS5 companion app released earlier this year, allowing users to display the games’ maps on their phone, and also manage their Mother Base while away from home.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes was released earlier this year for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. A release date for any version of The Phantom Pain, which will be available for the same platforms as Ground Zeroes, has yet to be announced.
