Team Fortress 2 Uber Update Coming

This Thursday, June 23rd, marks the release of the Uber Update for Team Fortress 2, which Valve promises to be the “biggest, most ambitious update” in the game’s history. The Uber update will feature new maps and class packs as well as a “Meet the Medic” short. As of Tuesday night, Valve has revealed a new Payload map (Barnblitz: The Barn Capital of the World), mobster-based class packs for the Heavy and the Spy, and desert/Middle Eastern packs for the Sniper and Demoman.

To celebrate the impending release of the update, Valve is making the immensely popular class-based shooter free to play for the rest of the week.
