Cave Story 3D Delayed to November 8th

For those of you looking forward to breaking the 3DS’s summer drought with Cave Story 3D on August 9th, you’ll have to change your plans. NIS America, the game’s publisher, has delayed the game to November 8th, citing “additional game improvements” for the delay.

“Changes are in the small details, but in order to satisfy both the fans and the new players we need to make sure the game is done right,” said Jack Niida, producer at NIS America.

The new release date sends the remastering of the PC/WiiWare/DSiWare game out to go head to head with other big releases during the already heavy holiday season, hitting stores on the same day as the much-anticipated Modern Warfare 3.
