Darksiders II Delayed Until August

Darksiders II is easily one of this year’s most anticipated action games. It’s set to be much more expansive than its prequel, whose size was already fairly impressive to begin with. Unfortunately for fans, THQ has announced that the game has been delayed until this August.

While a specific release date has yet to be announced, THQ says the game is being delayed by two months to ensure that Vigil Games has enough time to polish the game and make it as good as can be at launch. THQ did promise that the delay doesn’t affect the contents of the game’s limited editions, nor does it affect the game’s Wii U launch release.

Darksiders II will be released this August on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. A version for the Wii U will be released during said system’s launch window.
