PS3 Firmware 4.00 Released

Today Sony rolled out PS3 firmware version 4.00, which adds Vita Sync functionality to the system. Even though Vita won’t be released worldwide for a few more months, the PS3 can now sync trophies, saves, and other data between the two systems.

The firmware update also adds some Plus features, most notably the ability to opt in and out of automatic updates, patches, and trophy syncing.
