Nintendo detailed their plans for Zelda’s 25th anniversary this morning at their E3 conference. All three of their current systems will see a game release to commemorate the occasion.
Besides Ocarina of Time 3D, which launches on June 19th, the 3DS will be receiving Link’s Awakening DX on the eShop today. For DSi owners, the original Four Swords game will be available on DSiWare for free this September. And for Wii owners, Skyward Sword will be released by the end of the year. A special gold Wii remote will be available along with the release of Skyward Sword.
In addition, those who are among the first to register Ocarina of Time 3D with Club Nintendo will receive a CD of the game’s soundtrack as a gift. Later on in the year, another CD of orchestrated Zelda music will be available to coincide with a Zelda 25th Anniversary symphony orchestra concert tour that will be coming to all major regions.
