It’s been three months since a North American release for the Namco Bandai-meets-Sega-meets-Capcom title Project X Zone was announced, and now, Namco Bandai’s website has revealed the game’s release date.
Project X Zone is a tactical RPG featuring several of the most iconic characters from Namco Bandai’s, Sega’s, and Capcom’s most popular franchises, including Yuri and Estellise from Tales of Vesperia, Zephyr and Leanne from Resonance of Fate, and X and Zero from Mega Man X. The game, developed by Baten Kaitos– and Xenoblade Chronicles-creators Monolith Soft, was released in Japan last October. While the game’s North American release was announced roughly three months ago, very little of the game has been shown since then; however, Namco Bandai’s website was updated recently with the game’s release date: June 25. This could mean that the company will show off the English-subtitled version of the game soon.
Project X Zone will be released exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
