To mark the tenth anniversary of Tales of Symphonia, Namco Bandai have announced Tales of Symphonia: Unisonant Pack for PS3, featuring HD remasters of the original Symphonia and its sequel Dawn of the New World.
The pack will feature HD versions of the PS2 version of the original game and the Wii sequel, as well as additional costumes based on Tales of the Abyss characters including Guy and Luke. It will be released October 10 in Japan.
Unusually quickly after its unveiling, the company announced a Western release. Entitled Tales of Symphonia Chronicles outside of Japan, it will be released in the Americas, Europe, and Australia in early 2014.

Looking forward to this. I’ve never gotten to finish the first game, so it should be fun.
Also, forget the haters, Dawn of the New World was a good game.
DLC COSTUMES
I might import this since I doubt they’ll voice skits in English but I’m undecided so far. Vesperia PS3 is higher on my list…
(aka erica is excited to pay more money on top of the base price of the game gdi)
But seriously, I’m glad this is happening. ToS2 might be tolerable if it’s altered to work with a PS3 controller instead of the god-awful Wii controls. I also assume they’ll put the PS2 version into this instead of the Gamecube version and I’ve been putting off playing that for so long that now I can wait until this one for it.
I think they confirmed it is the PS2 version, yup.
… was there any demand for the sequel? XD
I doubt it. I… admit I will probably not be touching the sequel again if/when I get this. Once was far more than enough.
