If you loved Crackdown and Crackdown 2 on Xbox 360, you’re in luck– the series is receiving a brand new installment on Xbox One.
During Microsoft’s E3 press conference, the company showed off a trailer to announce the project. The trailer, seen above, shows off the game’s new location, which has shifted from Pacific City to a new, unnamed city covered in neon lights. It also depicts a fair bit of destruction, though how much that will extend to the final game remains to be seen. The game is being developed by Cloudgine, a UK-based team specializing in cloud technology. While the team may not be the same one that made previous Crackdown games, series director Dave Jones is leading the project’s development.
The new Crackdown is currently set for release in 2015.
