Microsoft held their E3 conference at 9:30 a.m. PDT today. Here’s a recap of all the news from the show:
- A gameplay demo of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare was shown, with the normal confirmation of timed exclusive DLC for Xbox. (link)
- The Nürburgring Circuit will be available as free DLC for Forza 5 starting today.
- Forza Horizon 2 will be coming to Xbox 360 and Xbox One on September 30.
- A new trailer for Turtle Rock’s Evolve was shown, with confirmation of an exclusive beta coming this fall as well as DLC first on Xbox. (link)
- Assassin’s Creed: Unity was revealed to have four-player online co-op, with an extended gameplay demo. (link)
- A new Dragon Age: Inquisition trailer revealed that DLC will be timed exclusive on Xbox. The game releases October 7. (link)
- Insomniac’s Sunset Overdrive will be releasing October 28 exclusively on Xbox One. A single-player demo was shown along with an announcement of an 8-player co-op mode.
- Super Ultra Dead Rising 3 Arcade Remix Hyper Edition EX Plus Alpha DLC for Dead Rising 3 is available right now on Xbox One. (link)
- Dance Central Spotlight is coming as a digital download game exclusively for Xbox One in September.
- A new trailer and four-player cooperative demo for Fable Legends was shown. In addition, another player can be the villain and place enemy spawns, traps, and the like for the heroes.
- A new Project Spark trailer was shown, with a surprise announcement of exclusive Conker content available this fall as a gift from Rare.
- An artistic 2D platformer from Moon Studios named Ori and the Blind Forest was revealed with a fall 2014 release date.
- The Halo Master Chief Collection, featuring Halo 1, 2, 3, and 4 will be released on November 11. The collection features over 100 multiplayer maps – every map from each of the four games – running at 1080p at 60 fps. Halo 2 will be receiving the full Anniversary Edition treatment as part of the package, and access to the Halo 5: Guardians beta will be included as well. (link)
- Playdead’s new project Inside was revealed.
- A long ID @ Xbox indie game montage was shown.
- Rise of the Tomb Raider was revealed with a holiday 2015 release date.
- A gameplay demo of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was shown, with the player hunting a griffin.
- A remastering of the original Xbox game Phantom Dust was revealed with all-new graphics and gameplay.
- Massive Entertainment showed off a gameplay demo of The Division, still set for a 2015 release with new content first on Xbox.
- Platinum Games revealed a trailer for an original title called Scalebound for Xbox One. (link)
