David Jaffe has revealed via the PlayStation Blog the unfortunate news that Twisted Metal will not be making its October release date. Instead, the game will ship in early 2012. Jaffe states that he wants the new Twisted Metal to be “the best Twisted Metal ever made,” and therefore it needs more “time, polish, and love.”
In the meantime, a new level of the game, Thrills & Spills Amusement Park, will be playable at both Gamescom and PAX Prime later this month. In addition, a new game mode called Team Hunted will be revealed at Gamescom, as well as the Dollface story trailer.
