Xbox 360 Special Edition Chrome Controllers Announced

Major Nelson has announced on his blog that three new wireless controllers for the Xbox 360 will be coming soon to a store near you.

The controllers feature a chrome finish and come in three colors: red, blue, and silver. They also have the transforming d-pad, first seen in the silver controller bundle released in 2010.

The Chrome series controllers will be released in mid-May and will retail for $54.99, a $5 premium over normal 360 controllers.
