Last year, Nintendo released a book titled The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia to coincide with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, the latest well-received title in the series. The book contained a vast wealth of never-before-seen Zelda art and facts, including the long-debated timeline. Unfortunately, the book was only released in Japan; however, starting next year, western fans will be able to read the book as well.
The 9″ x 12″, 248-page hardcover book will be released in North America, Australia, the United Kingdom, and several European countries by Dark Horse Comics in 2013. Aside from being fully translated into English, the majority of the book will remain unchanged, and will feature an introduction written by famed series creator Shigeru Miyamoto, a manga from Akira Himekawa, various concept art, and the full official timeline for The Legend of Zelda series.
Hyrule Historia will be released in North America on January 29, 2013 for $34.99 in the United States and $38.99 in Canada.
