If there’s one game Valve’s fans want, it’s Half-Life 2: Episode 3. If there’s one game Valve refuses to talk about, it’s Half-Life 2: Episode 3. Luckily for fans, a great deal of concept art for the game may have been leaked to the internet.
Citing an anonymous source, Valve fansite ValveTime uploaded supposed leaked concept art from the long-sought title. Dating back to 2008, shortly after the release of Half-Life 2: Episode 2, the art largely features Alyx Vance, who in some images is dressed in her father’s jacket. Other images include an Arctic location with a crashed helicopter, and Xen, the otherworldly dimension originally seen in the first Half-Life.
Because the art is four years old, chances are it may not reflect the current state of the game. However, it does provide an interesting look at some of its story-related events. Now if Valve would just let us play said story, that would be amazing.
