The story behind Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain keeps getting more interesting, as series creator Hideo Kojima himelf has confirmed that a next-generation version of the game will be released exclusively on Xbox One.
Taking the stage alongside Microsoft’s Don Mattrick today following a showing of MGS5‘s E3 trailer, Kojima stated that the One version of the game will feature several enhancements over other editions of the game, including enhanced visuals and SmartGlass support.
Kojima Productions’ Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will be released at an undisclosed date by Konami for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
