Late last year, Atlus finally announced the next main chapter in the Persona series, Persona 5. While it was announced as a PlayStation 3-exclusive title that would be released in Japan by the end of 2014, Atlus announced today that plans for the game have changed.
In a pre-Tokyo Game Show teaser video (seen above), Atlus announced that the dungeon crawler-meets-RPG-meets-social sim has been delayed into 2015 in Japan, with no specific release date given. However, in a bit of good news, it was also revealed that the game will not only be released for PlayStation 3 as originally announced, but also PlayStation 4. No other details on the PS4 version have been given.
Persona 5 has been confirmed for a North American release sometime in 2015, though whether or not it will be just the PS3 version or PS3 and PS4 has not been announced at this time.
