Announced earlier this month, Shin Megami Tensei IV is heading to North America this summer. Today, Atlus has not only revealed the game’s release date, but also announced what bonuses early adopters of the game will receive.
When Shin Megami Tensei IV releases on July 16, the game will be offered at a price point of $49.99, $10 higher than most high-profile 3DS releases. To make up for the increased price, however, Atlus is treating all who buy the game at launch to a limited edition at no extra cost. This edition includes Shin Megami Tensei IV, a “Shin Megami Tensei Music Selection” soundtrack CD featuring music from various Shin Megami Tensei games, a “Strategy & Design Book” featuring Masayuki Doi’s SMT4 concept art and a starter strategy guide from Prima Games, and a premium slipcase to house all of the items in.
Shin Megami Tensei IV will be released exclusively for Nintendo 3DS on July 16 in North America. A European release is also planned, though no release date or other information has been given.
