A source inside Nintendo itself has disclosed to Operation Rainfall that a North American localization of Xenoblade is complete, and testing for a NTSC and PAL localization of The Last Story will begin in the next month or so.
This is nowhere near an official confirmation, but it definitely raises our hopes that we might yet see at least two of the three Operation Rainfall games hit North American shores. Of course, fans are encouraged to keep sending letters to Nintendo until any official announcement is made.

Heck yeah. Like you said, it isn’t an official confirmation of a North American release, but it’s definitely great news. I’m thinking that they might be waiting to have The Last Story’s localization completed so that they can then market/sell both games together in some way.
