In just over a month, Kingdom Hearts 3D will finally be released in North America. Previous games in the series only received pre-order bonuses on the continent, but with 3D, Square Enix has announced that a special edition will be made available.
Dubbed the Mark of Mastery Edition, the bundle will not only include the full game, but it will also include five AR cards that unlock rare Dream Eaters when scanned in-game, twelve art cards that chronicle the history of the series, and a special Kingdom Hearts 3D-themed case for use with the 3DS. All of this will come inside a magnetic case to hold everything together. The bundle will retail for $54.99.
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance is set for release in North America on July 31, 2012 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS.
After I couldn’t get the limited edition 3DS (because it was >$500 *sob*), I very nearly got the anniversary package so I could have that casing. Sooo glad I didn’t buy that now. I’ll be picking this up and pawning the English game off on one of my friends. \o/
