RPG fans who have been waiting patiently for a North American release date for Mistwalker’s latest epic need not wait any longer. XSEED has confirmed that The Last Story will be hitting North American shores on August 14, 2012.
Gamers who pre-order from Amazon, Gamestop, or EB Games Canada will receive a special soundtrack CD featuring seven tracks from the game’s score, composed by Nobuo Uematsu.
In addition, all copies ofThe Last Story at launch will be the limited edition of the game, featuring an art book and special packaging.

Man, I love XSEED’s bonuses. I was happy when they included Solatorobo’s soundtrack with that game, and now, this looks pretty nice as well.
