Western PlayStation 3 owners will be able to experience Sora’s first two adventures in HD this September, as well as get an inside look into Kingdom Hearts‘ art.
When North American and European fans pre-order I.5 ReMIX at a participating retailer, they’ll receive a free artbook upon the game’s release while supplies last. The artbook, comprised of 24 pages, features a variety of concept art from Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, and Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, all drawn by series director and designer Tetsuya Nomura.
Kingdom Hearts HD: I.5 ReMIX is a compilation of several games in the Kingdom Hearts series, namely PlayStation 2 titles Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories, as well as a movie edition of Nintendo DS game Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days. All games are remastered for 720p output, feature trophy support, and include enhancements where needed– for example, Final Mix‘s character models have been changed to more closely resemble those seen in Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, and the game’s camera can now be controlled using the right analog stick as in Kingdom Hearts II.
Kingdom Hearts HD: I.5 ReMIX is set for release exclusively on PlayStation 3 on September 10 in North America, and September 13 in Europe. In North America, the game will retail for $39.99.

The artbook is a really nice & surprising gesture. I’m glad they’re including it and I’m glad my roommate is getting this game so I don’t have to buy it myself just to see how the book turns out.
