It’s been a long time coming, but a new game in the Star Wars: Battlefront series has finally been announced.
During Electronic Arts’ E3 2013 press conference today, the company revealed that Digital Illusions CE – EA DICE, for short – is developing the next game in the fan-revered Star Wars: Battlefront series using Frostbite 3, the same engine powering Battlefield 4, a new Mirror’s Edge game, Dragon Age III: Inquisition, and Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare.
A release date for the game has yet to be announced. The game will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
