Evolve, the next game from the creators of Left 4 Dead, has become one of 2014’s most anticipated titles. Unfortunately, publisher 2K Games has announced that the co-op title has been delayed into 2015.
During its financial report for its first fiscal year quarter of 2015, Take-Two Interactive – the parent company of 2K Games – announced that Turtle Rock Studios’ next game won’t be released until February 10, 2015. Currently, no reason for the delay has been given; however, the game was originally set to launch on October 21, 2014, and a private alpha recently began taking place. While this is pure speculation, it could be that Turtle Rock needed more time fine-tuning the game and implementing feedback from the alpha test.
It is currently unknown when the previously announced Xbox One beta test will take place. Evolve is set for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
